Greetings Brethren and Friends.

Grace to you and peace from Yahweh our Father and the Sovereign Yahshua the Messiah. We pray all is well with you and your family and that you enjoy these monthly visits as much as we do.

It is our hope and prayer that this newsletter will encourage and inspire each reader to greater spiritual heights and to achieve an unshakeable faith in our Father Yahweh. "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the evangel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things.’" (Romans 10:14-15, NKJV)

"So Yahshua was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, ‘If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.’ They answered Him, ‘We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free?’ Yahshua answered them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.’" (John 8:31-36, NASU)

Praise Yahweh that through our Savior Yahshua, we are able to learn the truth, freeing us from the slavery of sin and lies which dominate the belief systems of modern Babylon. It is Yahweh’s will that His people escape the impending judgment that will come soon. "I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues.’" (Revelation 18:4, NASU)

We pray this newsletter may be a blessing for you, and that you will rejoice with us before Yahweh for all that He is accomplishing. Thank you for your support and participation in this ministry.

News, Notes, Notables

  • 11th Month New Moon. The new moon for the eleventh month was sighted and verified on the evening of January 20th, just after sundown. That made the weekly Sabbath of January 21st new moon day.
  • 12th Month New Moon. It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of another year on Yahweh’s annual calendar. Spring is just around the corner, with its warm temperatures, blooming flowers and the Spring Feast Days. Please check for the new crescent on the evening of February 18 and report your sighting by calling 888-FOR-YPTC, or by email to contactus@yahstruth.org.
  • 2007-2008 Wall Calendar. We are planning on sending out copies of the YPTC wall calendar sometime in February. Last year we determined to publish our congregational calendar from spring to spring to more accurately include correct Feast information. We decided that the worldly system had the secular calendar covered so we would attempt to do Yahweh’s as close to His will as we could determine. Plus, this takes us out of publishing around the "dead of winter" pagan based schedule. All those who are on our "snail mail" list for the printed monthly newsletter should receive two calendars.
  • Website Additions. We hope you visit the YPTC website often. Changes and improvements continue to be made to help us all with our spiritual growth.
    • New online is the final Kenya Report from that monumental missionary journey last fall. Several pictures accompany this inspiring report.
    • There are also two new study resources available: The Two Babylons and Fox’s Book of Martyrs. Both of these books are extremely valuable historical references with a great deal of detail on the history of both True Worship and the development of counterfeit worship over the ages.
    • We recently also advertised a regional meeting in California. Plans are being formulated for future meetings throughout the country this year. Please check the website often for information as it becomes available.
    • Our "For the Kid’s" section includes a variety of puzzles and a series of stories about the Truman family. These stories are intended to help our young people look at, and prepare for, some of the problems they may face according to Yahweh’s Way. We urge all to read these stories as a family, and that you contribute your thoughts, suggestions and comments to make this a great and enjoyable resource for our precious young people. Subjects or situations you may have encountered for story lines would also be appreciated.
  • Bible Study. This month we begin a series of Bible studies for those on our mailing list. Each month we shall take a deeper look at various Bible, and Bible-related, subjects. This month’s study is on the subject of Valentine’s Day, one of the many holidays celebrated in the world today, but which has no foundation in the Word of Yahweh.

    If you are not on the list to receive these studies, please write, call, or email us with your request. We hope that all who receive them will enjoy these studies in the Word of Yahweh, and that they provide faith-building instruction that can be used to improve your spiritual character.
  • Psalms and Selected Scriptures, 2nd Edition. Our supply of Psalms and Selected Scriptures is nearly depleted. As you know, we originally published this collection of Bible verses to assist us in unifying YPTC services without undertaking the incredible resources, time, and expense of producing an entirely new Bible version. To our surprise, it has not only been very well received by our brethren, but so many others have requested copies that we had to limit distribution. We thank Yahweh for allowing YPTC to publish it, and a larger reprint is underway at this time. We continue to request that you contact us with any typographical errors you may encounter in the 2nd edition. Call 888-FOR-YPTC or contact us online at Psalms@YahsTruth.org. Watch for update information online and in our WebSite Update Newsletter concerning its completion. Copies will be available again when the second printing is in hand.

Prayer Changes Things

Yahshua taught His disciples how to pray, as recorded in the book of Matthew. "This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.’" (Matthew 6:9-15, NIV)

This is how we are to offer praise and thanks to Almighty Yahweh, and how we make known our hopes and fears, having all confidence that He hears and answers us according to His will. We confess our sins and shortcomings as we ask for forgiveness from Yahweh, and through this we can learn to forgive others. Truly, prayer changes things as it teaches us to keep the two great commandments—love for Yahweh, and love for our neighbor.

We continue to urge all the brethren to be diligent in prayer for each other, and especially this ministry. Prayer is our primary means of gaining more spirituality, and of drawing closer to Yahweh and Yahshua. Again, remember, prayer changes things.

Each month we receive requests for prayer from individuals and families who petition our Heavenly Father to intervene in their lives. In some cases physical problems exist, in others personal or temporal needs, and in still others spiritual help is requested. Some have lost loved ones and are in mourning. Whatever the circumstances, we know that we can truly depend only on Yahweh, our healer and provider.

Correction

In our last newsletter we published the anticipated dates for the new moons and Yahweh’s holy days. There was one error, which must be corrected. Please note that the Last Great Day is on October 4 and not on October 5, as was listed. Our apologies for the error.

Food for Thought

When we pray as Yahshua our Savior taught us we say, "Your Kingdom come, your will be done," and we know that no matter what else may happen, Yahweh’s will is going to be accomplished. Even the nations that will comprise the Beast system (the nations of the western world) will fulfill the will of Almighty Yahweh so that Yahweh’s Kingdom will come. "For Yahweh has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of Yahweh will be fulfilled." (Revelation 17:17, NASU)

Obviously, this verse has yet to be fulfilled. We need to understand that even those who oppose Yahweh’s coming Kingdom will, despite their active opposition to it, facilitate its formation when Yahshua returns. If it’s Yahweh’s will, the events prophesied to precede the tribulation could unfold before us rapidly.

Yahshua has told us to watch and be ready for what is coming (Luke 21:36). We do not know how much time we have left. Nevertheless, we must prayerfully prepare as best as we can.

Every month, in all of our communications, we stress the importance of recognizing that we are living in the days just prior to the second coming of our Savior. We look with joy toward His return, even knowing that this world and those of us in it must go through a more devastating time of destruction than mankind can ever imagine. Those of us who truly love and have faith in Yahweh seek to follow the principle of Philippians 4:8-9, and stress the positive rather than the negative. However, the reality of current events dictates that we all must strive to make others aware of these negative signs of the times. We cannot sugar-coat the ordeal that is before us, but neither should we dwell on the negative, in light of the kingdom at its end.

For the most part, the majority of prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. Many things that are recorded in the epistles of the New Testament had partial fulfillment in apostolic times and will have final prophetic fulfillment in the near future. An example of this is found in 1 Thessalonians 2, where the "falling away" (apostasy) occurred in the time of Apostle Paul, and which will have its final fulfillment very soon. It also describes the man of sin, and how he will exalt himself above Yahweh. At this point in time we don’t exactly know how these events will play out, but we will pray for patience and strength, and follow the words of Yahshua to watch and wait.

Many of these remaining prophecies will directly affect the lives of the saints at the end of the age. We know from Revelation 12 that Satan shall come down upon Yahweh’s people with great wrath as the accuser of the brethren. The Adversary is out to destroy those who keep the commandments and have the faith of Yahshua. As these times of testing appear to be increasing, we can’t help but wonder if the end times are very close. We take comfort in knowing that Yahweh will soon reveal all to His people. "Surely the Sovereign Yahweh does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7, NIV) And, we are confident in knowing that Yahweh discloses the hidden things to His people. "The secret things belong to Yahweh our Elohim, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law." (Deuteronomy 29:29, NIV)

The Scriptures tell us that with knowledge comes understanding, and this should give us hope and strength to stand strong against that which is coming. "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." (Daniel 12:1-4, NKJV)

Adversity and afflictions will continue to test the faith of us all, but if we endure the fire, we will be purified and strengthened in Yahshua. This is what Apostle Paul spoke of in 1 Corinthians 3:13, when he said, "…his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work." (NIV)

Each of us must face the trials of life, and seek to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, as we are collectively targeted for destruction by the Adversary and his supporters (Revelation 12:17). There are numerous scriptures that describe these things, and give us warning of what is to come. Because we have chosen to walk the narrow path that leads to life, we have accepted to trust in Yahweh, and we must therefore prepare as much as is possible for what is ahead. "In fact, everyone who wants to live an upright life in Messiah Yahshua will be persecuted." (2 Timothy 3:12, NIV)

Those who accept and embrace Yahweh’s Truth will have their understanding increased, and His Word revealed to them. This will not be without cost and hardship. Prayer, faith, and commitment will provide us the spiritual power we need to endure to the end, and to turn our weakness into strength. "To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Master to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Messiah's power may rest on me. That is why, for Messiah's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:7-10, NIV)

We humbly ask all of our beloved brethren and friends to remember to pray for this ministry, and all of Yahweh’s people everywhere. No matter what difficulties we all may face, we must keep a positive attitude, support each other, and continue on in the faith. "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me — put it into practice. And the Elohim of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4:8-9, NIV)
