[ November/December Newsletter ]

Greetings Brethren, I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. We pray that Yahshua the Messiah is active and working in all your lives. We rejoice in His Holy spirit from Yahweh and thank Him greatly for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.

Peace On Earth

Many of the people on earth at this time of year are engaged in observing the pagan practice of Christmas. They seem to be friendlier than at any other time of the year. We often hear them saying peace on earth and good will towards men. Why at this one time of the year do you have people who are normally at odds with most people 11 months out of the year become civil or even downright nice? It is somewhat of a paradox when you get right down to it. I believe that they realize that they after hearing "Merry Christmas" must somehow respond positively. We who know the scriptures believe in treating people the way that we want to be treated all year long. If everyone Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and Jew were to embrace each other in love despite our differences we would see peace on earth. The Holy book of the Christians who worship the Messiah says in John 4:22b “for salvation is from the Jews.” They believe that the Messiah was born on December 25thand therefore they celebrate the winter solstice as the birth of the Savior. Almighty Yahweh tells us to learn not the way of the nations in Jer. 10:1-5 "1Hear the word which Yahweh speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 Thus says Yahweh, "Do not learn the way of the nations, And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens although the nations are terrified by them; for the customs of the peoples are vanity; because it is wood cut from the forest, the work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. 4 "They decorate it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers so that it will not move. 5 "Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field are they, and they cannot speak; they must be carried, because they cannot walk! Do not fear them, for they can do no harm, nor can they do any good." This is vanity that is the practice of the nations, idolatry and the Christians who practice it as well since Almighty Yahweh told us not to do it. Are you participating in the vain practices of the nations this Year? Are you being a faithful servant abstaining from all appearances of evil? Go to our Website www.yahstruth.org and check out our online article „Yahweh?s truth about Winter Holidays" to learn more about the subject.

For us to develop peace on earth we must first learn to love each other regardless of our backgrounds. This seems to be a difficult task because of our different upbringing. Yahshua has given us an example of how to overcome our differences by accepting Him and His sacrifice to show each of us that without Him in our lives we have nothing. In 1Cor. 10:14-22 it states: 14Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say. 16 Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Messiah? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Messiah? 17 Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar? 19 What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to Yahweh; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of Yahweh and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of Yahweh and the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke Yahweh to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we? If we have accepted Yahshua?s blood then we have nothing to do with idolatry. Those who are outside the covenant worship demons as the scripture shows here in 1 Cor. 10:14-22. We must continue to be an example to the people around us by showing love to our neighbors and family who even participate in the pagan practices of the nations. We must not participate in the pagan activities but by example show them in love what Yahshua has taught us in the word. If someone wishes you merry Christmas you can respond in a nice way that you don't participate in it and wish them happy holidays. When you show them love they may respond why don?t you participate giving you an opportunity to witness to them.

In John 4:22a Yahshua tells the Samaritan woman that you worship that which you know not and most people are in the same position that they worship demons unknowingly because they know not Yahweh. 1 Cor. 10:20 states: "But I say, that the things which the gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to Yahweh: and I do not wish that you should have communion with demons." How can you have a relationship with someone you do not know? It is impossible to have a relationship without getting to know your spouse. This is why we have a set of rules to live by in which we develop a relationship with Him who offered us the covenant relationship in the first place. Yahshua said in John 14:15 "If you love me you will keep my commandments." We must remember where our help comes from and keep that relationship pure by being righteous in every thing we do. If we fall or fail we have an advocate with the Father in Yahshua the Messiah. The torah teaches us the basic tenets of the law of Yahweh and helps us build that relationship with the Father. The Gentiles don?t have that knowledge but as Yahshua told the Samaritan woman in John 4:22b "for salvation is from (or of) the Jews." Make your commitment today to be at peace with all men as we learn of Yahshua and not learn the ways of the nations or Gentiles. I hope each of you desire a relationship with Almighty Yahweh and will yield to Him and His Holy spirit to lead and guide you to His kingdom.

KENYA

Shalom brethren.

We had a very successful journey to Sogoo to attend the auspicious wedding ceremony of Julius Ronoh. The only challenge we encountered was on the roads leading to the place, which is in the interior since it was raining heavily and the roads rendered impassible. Several times we had to a light and push the van through the mud. We spent about three days there due to these problems. However we had a good and a memorable moment.

Attached are a few pictures.

Yahweh bless you.

Mumira.

EYES ON ISRAEL

Psalm 140 "For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David."

1 Deliver me, O Yahweh, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:
2 Who devise mischiefs in their heart; continually do they gather themselves together for war.
3 They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah
4 Keep me, O Yahweh, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man: Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me. Selah
6 I said unto Yahweh, You are my Elohim: Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Yahweh.
7 O Yahweh the Sovereign, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.
8 Grant not, O Yahweh, the desires of the wicked; further not his evil device, lest they exalt themselves. Selah
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: Let them be cast into the fire, into deep pits, whence they shall not rise.
11 An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth: Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
12 I know that Yahweh will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto your name: The upright shall dwell in your presence.

Updated: Dec. 14, 2011

In the fall of 2011, with its Cairo embassy ransacked, its ambassador to Turkey expelled and the Palestinians seeking statehood recognition at the United Nations, Israel found itself increasingly isolated and grappling with a radically transformed Middle East where it believes its options are limited and poor.

Turkey expelled the Israeli ambassador in early September over Israel’s refusal to apologize for a deadly raid in 2010 on a Turkish ship bound for Gaza in which nine Turks were killed. Turkey once ranked as Israel’s closest strategic ally in the Muslim world, but ties began to fray with an Israeli military operation in Gaza in late 2008 and early 2009.

And there is always Iran, with its nuclear weapons program, which Israel views as a potentially existential threat. In early November, Israel tested what experts said was a long-range ballistic missile, firing it out to sea from an Air Force base just south of Tel Aviv. Defense Minister Ehud Barak told the Israeli Parliament that “no options should be taken off the table."

But Israeli officials would not confirm or deny multiple reports in the Israeli news media that Mr. Barak and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were pressing for a decision on whether and when to strike a uranium enrichment facility at Natanz, the centerpiece of Iran’s known nuclear-fuel production, and related sites across the country.

Relations with the Palestinians remained stalled. Israel vehemently opposed the effort launched in September by Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president, for full recognition by the United Nations Security Council. Shortly afterward, Mr. Netanyahu’s government formally accepted an international proposal to return to peace negotiations, but the Israelis and Palestinians differed sharply over the letter and spirit of the proposal.

In November, to protest the Palestinians’ membership efforts at the United Nations and pursuit of power-sharing with Hamas, Israel carried out a threat to suspend the transfer of about $100 million in tax payments to the Palestinian Authority. On Nov. 30, under strong American and international pressure, Israel agreed to transfer the money.

Release of Gilad Shalit

A week later, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement to exchange more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners for an Israeli soldier held
captive in Gaza for five years, Staff Sgt. Gilad Shalit, in a deal brokered by Egypt. Sergeant Shalit was released on Oct. 18, at the same
time that several hundred Palestinian prisoners were freed in the first phase of the agreement.

NEWS, NOTES, & NOTABLES

Looking Ahead to the Next New Moon: The new moon for the 10th scriptural month should be visible the evening of Sunday December 25, 2011.

In Genesis 1:14-18 we see the significance of the heavenly bodies.  “Then Elohim said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth;’ and it was so. Then Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. Elohim set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.”  (NKJV)

Be sure to look for this new moon and report your findings to us by calling 717-383-6975.

We are commanded to pray for the sick among us in James 5:13-15 13“Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and Yahweh shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Let us pray for these people who have a petition before Almighty Yahweh.
