[ January/February Newsletter ]

Shalom Brethren, Almighty Yahweh is our soul source of blessings and we wish you abundant blessings for you and your families. Almighty Yahweh is our light through our savior Yahshua the messiah who showed us a better way of living. Yahshua showed us how to love despite the trouble in our lives. Greetings in the name of Yahweh and in the name of His son Yahshua our savior and soon coming king. Our focus this year is the 3rd tithe year and the blessings Almighty Yahweh has promised us if we are faithful in keeping all His law. I pray that this letter finds you in the best of health and if you have a spiritual or physical need you will bring it to Him in prayer. If you need to be added to the prayer list let us know so we can pray for you. May Almighty Yahweh grant you your heart's desire as you prepare for the sabbatical year?

Feeding the Flock

Almighty Yahweh commanded us in Deut. 14:22-29 (NIV) 28At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year's produce and store it in your towns, 29so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that Yahweh your Elohim may bless you in all the work of your hands. We want to be blessed of Yahweh by feeding the flock of Yahweh. This is necessary so each of us must put our hands to feeding the flock of Yahweh by supporting the leadership. We can all participate in the nourishment of the people of Yahweh through our tithes and offerings. We are commanded to go into all the world and to preach to all nations in Matt. 28:16-20 Yahshua commands us to teach them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you. What Yahshua commanded us to do is to love one another by feeding one another and seeing to one another's needs. In Matt. 25:31-46 it states: 31But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: 32and before him shall be gathered all the nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separated the sheep from the goats; 33and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35for I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in; 36naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me. 37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Master, when did we see you hungry, and fed you? Or thirsty, and gave you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger, and took you in? Or naked, and clothed you? 39And when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came to you? 40And the King shall answer and say to them, truly I say to you, since you did it to one of these my brethren, even these least, you did it to me. 41Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels: 42for I was hungry, and you did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; 43I was a stranger, and you took me not in; naked, and you clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and you visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer, saying, Master, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to you? 45Then shall he answer them, saying, truly I say to you, since you did it not to one of these least, you did it not to me. 46And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life. Feeding the flock consist of more than just giving tithes and offerings as you see in this passage it's about showing love in an active way which impact the lives of the needy. Yahshua is telling us to get involved in other people's lives by meeting their needs as we are able. Almighty Yahweh will also put you positions that require you to make a decision to help someone who is in need to see if you will be faithful or not.

YPTC was founded on John 21:15-17 which states: 15so when they had broken their fast, Yahshua said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He says to him, Yes, Master; you know that I love you. He says to him, Feed my lambs. 16He says to him again a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He says to him, Yes, Master; you know that I love you. He says to him, Tend my sheep. 17He says to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, do you Love me? And he said to him, Master, you know all things; you know that I love you. Yahshua says to him, Feed my sheep. Our existence as an organization is to feed Yahshua's flock since we saw that they were not being fed the pure doctrine of Almighty Yahweh but were being mistreated by the shepherds, as were the people during the days of the messiah. Peter had denied Yahshua three times and he had to promise to feed the flock as many times as he denied Yahshua. Our purpose is to feed Yahshua's flock every day as shepherds who are faithful. Almighty Yahweh has made it possible for you to be a part of this end time's ministry to feed His flock. To be a guide to the blind and a light to those who are in darkness as it states in Romans 2:19. We have a greater commission to fulfill than that of the world whose purpose is to only look out for themselves. Almighty Yahweh is faithful in all things by giving us the desires of our hearts because He knows we love the brethren and are trying to bring about the kingdom by showing love one to another.

Eyes on Israel

Report: Netanyahu May Extend Peres's Presidency
If true, Peres to serve an additional year; presidential elections would then be handed to the people in 2015.

President Shimon Peres

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is examining the possibility of extending Shimon Peres's presidential term, according to IDF Radio. If the move is passed, the next presidential elections after Peres's term will be turned into a popular vote, according to that report. Extending the term of the current president for an additional year will allow the Central Elections Commission to prepare for a general vote, along the same lines as the preparations for general Knesset elections. According to the report, the process would involve changing the Basic Law: The President of the State. The law, which was passed in 1964, forms part of the foundation of Israel's governmental procedures and protocol. If the process of extending the term under law is successfully completed, the plan is to add a clause mandating a popular vote for the presidency. Sources close to the Prime Minister this morning refused to comment on the issue. However, analysts claim that the Prime Minister's decision is connected to difficulty in choosing a suitable candidate for Likud.

The presidential race begins

Daily newspaper Yisrael Hayom reported on Sunday that Tourism Minister Uzi Landau of Yisrael Beytenu was considering running for president and would be endorsed by Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu if he does. Former Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin is the current Likud candidate for the presidency. However, Rivlin's relationship with Netanyahu remains shaky; the Prime Minister replaced Rivlin with current Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein in the 19th Knesset, and Rivlin has been critical of Netanyahu's statements at times. Another former Knesset Speaker, Dalia Itzik, has begun to collect signatures from MKs, with Shas's Yaakov Margi being the first one to sign for her. Other candidates in the presidential election include Nobel Laureate Professor Daniel Shechtman, who recently announced his candidacy. Shechtman's announcement made waves when he declared that he wants to be "a man of the people" and not identify himself with a specific party.

A matter of public support

In a January poll, 63% of respondents expressed support for Peres's term, which is to end this summer, being extended by three years. By contrast, only 28% said they opposed extending Peres's term in office. As for the next president, Rivlin has garnered overwhelming support so far, according to a recent poll. So has the idea of holding a direct popular vote: 72% of the public thinks Israeli citizens should have direct elections to decide on the president, with only 8% saying MKs should continue choosing the president. The survey also found that 63% of the public supports preserving the institution of the presidency, in response to a new bill proposed last week by MK Zevul Kalfa (Jewish Home) that would cancel the presidency.

Looking Ahead to the Next New Moon:The new moon for the 13th scriptural month should be visible the evening of Sabbath, March 01, 2014. So watch.

In Genesis 1:14-18 we see the significance of the heavenly bodies. "Then Elohim said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth;' and it was so. Then Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. Elohim set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good." (NKJV)

Be sure to look for this new moon and report your findings to us by calling 717-383-6975.

We are commanded to pray for the sick among us in James 5:13-15 13 "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh: 15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and Yahweh shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Let us pray for these people who have a petition before Almighty Yahweh.
