Romans 3:23-24      For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Yahweh, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Messiah Yahshua.  Righteousness can be defined as keeping the commandments of Yahweh (Deut.6:25). Yahweh has provided a way for man to be redeemed as totally righteous through the righteousness which comes from Yahshua’s example and offering. We can never earn our righteousness, our eternal life, by keeping the commandments, statutes and ordinances of Yahweh, due to sin. Does that mean that we shouldn’t try to be pleasing in Yahweh’s sight? Should we just throw the law out the window because we can never be good enough to merit eternal life? The answer is NO. By keeping Yahweh’s Torah (law) we show our love to Him (1 John 5:3) and our desire to be obedient to Him, just as a child shows their parents that they love them by being obedient to them. Man is naturally sinful but a change can be made to him through baptism when, by the power of the Holy Spirit, he decides to start living a life pleasing to Yahweh, by keeping the commandments (Ezekiel 36:24-27). Start today to show your loving Heavenly Father that you love Him. Choose to live by His law and believe in the sacrifice of Yahshua that you may be totally righteous in His sight.
