DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR MAY 4, 2018

5/4/2018 Hab 2:2-3 Then Yahweh replied: Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
The prophecies of the Bible are frequently viewed as abstract stories which have no relevance for the living. However, we should remind ourselves each day that Yahweh is working out a plan. That plan involves all of mankind from Adam down to the last person born before the return of our Savior. He has given us access to bits and pieces of His plan, but we do not know all of the particulars. One thing is certain. Only those who remain faithful and true to Him will have a role in the Kingdom age to come. This should cause us to make wise decisions each—decisions based on the Word of Yahweh. While we live in the here and now, we must accept that what Yahweh has foretold an end—an end that “will certainly come and not delay.” We must prepare for ourselves for that eventuality. May Yahweh strengthen you today as you strive to move closer to Him
