DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR JULY 2, 2018

7/2/2018 1 Pet 4:1-2 Therefore, since the Messiah suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of Elohim.

The credo of the True Worshiper is Yahweh first. He is absolutely committed to performing His will in his life. He no longer lives according to physical desires. He does not allow physical circumstances to regulate his life. And he is willing to suffer for this position. He knows that Yahshua’s life proves that it is possible to overcome every human temptation and he strives daily to do likewise. He may struggle with accomplishing this feat, but he is never deterred in his resolve to stay the course. Today must be another day of overcoming the weaknesses of the flesh. Do not allow any temptation to lure you off track. We are guaranteed that Satan is constantly attempting to encourage to become weary in well doing and to turn away from doing those things we know to be right. Resist the urge to follow him. Stay true to Yahweh and He will stay true to you.
