Daily Devotional for July 09, 2018

But blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh,
whose confidence is in him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

We put trust in so many things in an attempt to feel secure. The nation of America puts their trust in its armed forces. The Arab nations put their trust in their oil. People put their trust in their jobs, or even the government, for their source of income. All these things will eventually come to an end.

The people that put their trust in Yahweh will be like well watered trees. Their leaves will always be green and they will produce abundant fruit for the well being of others.

Yahweh has promised to meet all our needs according to His riches and glory through Yahshua the Messiah. Let’s put our trust in Him.
