DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR JULY 10, 2018

7/10/2018 Num 6:22-27 Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: “‘”Yahweh bless you and keep you; Yahweh make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; Yahweh turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ‘ “So, they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

These verses are sometimes referred to as the Aaronic Blessing and what a blessing it is! Read it again. What a petition it is for the priests of Yahweh to ask Him to fully care for and protect us; to request that He favorably view us; to allow us to look into His very essence; and most of all to ask for Yahweh, the author of Shalom, to give us peace. These are the thoughts that should be our focus each day. These are the ideas that should control our thoughts. This is our prayer for you today and every day.
