DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR JULY 28, 2018 SHABBAT SHALOM

7/28/2018 Yah 22:5 But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of Yahweh gave you: to love Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”
The words of the Bible are given for our instruction and encouragement. Here, Yahshua the son of Nun warns Ancient Israel to make a conscientious and thorough effort to perform the laws Moses had given them. He recognized that these commandments came directly from Yahweh and therefore had value far beyond any other life principles. He further instructs them to cling to the relationship they have with Yahweh—to maintain it whatever the cost. And to do so heartily and sincerely. In like manner, we today must make a sincere and conscious effort to follow each and every one of the laws passed down to us in the Word of Yahweh. Therefore, be very cautious with the life Yahweh has given you. Take the extra care necessary to perform His commandments, statutes, ordinances, and judgments in your life. Show Him your love for Him through obedience to His word.
