DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SEPTEMBER 12, 2018

9/12/2018 Ps 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh” — and you forgave the guilt of my sin.

We are in the time between the Feast of Trumpets and Atonement. These days are referred to as the penitential days. This is a time of deep introspection. It is a time when we are required to take stock of who and where we are in our lives as they relate to spiritual people. Now is the time to honestly look at yourself and admit your sins and transgressions. Complete absolution of all sins is possible on the coming Day of Atonement. However, the first step is to confess your sins. Take time today and each day in this time leading up to Atonement to take an honest look at yourself. Do so as if you are viewing yourself through Yahweh’s eyes. If you do this sincerely, Yahweh will forgive all your sins and your relationship with Him will become stronger and deeper than you could have ever imagined.
