DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SEPTEMBER 13, 2018

9/13/2018 Lam 3:39-42 Why should any living man complain when punished for his sins? Let us examine our ways and test them and let us return to Yahweh. Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to Elohim in heaven and say: “We have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven.

When we are punished for our sins, we have no grounds for complaint. Yahweh punishes sinners. The greatest punishment for sin is yet to come, when eternal death will be meted out for those who refuse to comply with the Law of Yahweh. During these 10 days between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, we must deeply look into our hearts and earnestly evaluate our ways. We must consider ourselves as Yahweh would. Look to Him for guidance in your introspection so that every transgression, no matter how small, can be revealed and confessed before Him. The result of such a heartfelt examination will be acceptance by our Father and Creator Yahweh.
