DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR NOVEMBER 3, 2018 SHABBAT SHALOM
11/3/2018 Matt 10:16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
Yahshua warned His closest disciples to be cautious and careful in dealing with the people they would encounter. He warned of the danger that existed in the world in which they lived. Today, we must consider the same warning. The world is full of wolves seeking to do us harm, as we attempt to do Yahweh’s will. This is Satan’s world. He is in control of the masses. He is influencing most to do his bidding, which includes stopping the Truth of Yahweh from being made known to all. He is also using every method available to him to get you to violate your covenant with Yahweh. You must be as smart as those around you but at the same time harmless. We can never take on the violent and vicious behavior that confronts us. We are held accountable for our actions cannot cross the line of sin, seeking retribution for wrongs done to us. Yahshua never reviled, even when He was physically or verbally assaulted. His witness was effective because He refused to lower Himself to the level of the scribes and Pharisees. Be smart in your dealings with those around you. Filter your responses and reactions to the situations you encounter through the eyes of Yahshua. His advice is sound and will help you to avoid making decisions which turn into mistakes.
