DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR JANUARY 1, 2020

1/01/2020 Rom 2:9-13 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For Elohim does not show favoritism. All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in Elohim’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. So many religions and groups today eliminate the need to DO. Paul shows that evil is doing those things that are not good. This is a very simple definition. Every person knows the difference between right and wrong even if he or she does not know all the tenets of Yahweh’s Law. Each one must understand that there is a price to pay for evil acts and a reward for doing good. Into which group do you fall? Obtaining Yahweh’s favor is merely a matter of doing good. Certainly, there are many points of Law that we all should understand, and we all need to study the Scriptures to secure a better understanding of Yahweh and Yahshua. But even without knowing or being familiar with each principle, one can be looked upon favorably by Yahweh. There is no excuse for not doing the right things in your life. Yahweh has given each one the instincts to know the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. Tribulation and distress await all who perform evil; blessings from Yahweh for those who do good. Be certain that you fall into the latter group.
