1 Corinthians 11:23-25      For I received from Yahweh what I also passed on to you: Master Yahshua, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” We all know of someone who has died and their loved ones made a “shrine” in order to remember them. We have seen them along side of the highway where someone was killed and the family has placed flowers at the site. Theologians have somehow missed these verses where Yahshua tells His disciples how He wants to be remembered. They celebrate Christmas to remember His birth and Easter to remember His resurrection. Christmas and Easter are no where to be found in the scriptures. Here Yahshua is telling us to keep the Passover to honor and remember Him. He was in essence making a living will with His disciples by stating how He wanted to be remembered. The Bible gives us all the instructions we will ever need to make it to Yahweh’s kingdom. Let’s give heed to its instructions and live.
