Colossians 3:1-4 Since, then you have been raised with Yahshua, set your hearts on things above, where Messiah is seated at the right hand of Yahweh. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died and your life is now hidden with Messiah in Yahweh. When Yahshua, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Baptism is an outward showing that we have submitted to the teachings of Yahshua the Messiah. We are buried and raised to newness of life. These 4 scriptures are vital to a spiritual lifestyle. While we are in the world we are not of the world. We have died to sin and its destructive ways. We should therefore set our minds, our strength, and our devotion on things pertaining to Yahweh’s kingdom. This current world and its system will come to an end, it’s temporary and fleeting. We should set our ambitions on helping others to make it out of this system and into the eternal realm. Our true life is hidden with Yahshua the Messiah, but when He returns we will be glorified with Him and will then be with Him in eternity. HalleluYah.
