Pro 20:10 Differing weights and differing measures—Yahweh detests them both.
Are you always fair and just in judging situations or people? Do you use the same standard for evaluating situations and others or do you, either consciously or unconsciously, use double standards? Would you judge two people doing the exact same thing in the same way? What if one of the two people is you? Our Savior admonishes us to use the same measure of judgment for judging ourselves as we use to judge others. As you quickly judge others to be wrong about matters, be certain that you are just as quick and using the same standard when viewing your own actions. Yahweh is not a respecter of persons and considers it to be an abomination to have a false, double standard. By the same token, He is pleased with those who use the one standard in all of his or her considerations—His Word.
