Daily Devotional for November 23, 2022
If Yahweh delights in a man’s way,
he makes his steps firm;
though he stumble, he will not fall,
for Yahweh upholds him with his hand. Ps 37:23-24
If you were working with Yahweh on a daily basis, what would He think of you? If He were your spouse, what would He say about the way you treat Him? If He lived next door, would He view you as a good neighbor? What does He think of your ways?
The author of Psalm 37 reminds us that if Yahweh delights in your way, He will never allow you to fall. You may stumble or even struggle at times. But you will never totter over and fall down because He will be a support for you. The qualifier is that He must be pleased with your ways the way you treat you co-workers, family, neighbor and spouse. He must look at your ways and see that your life is fully aligned with the instructions He gives us in His Word. The question you must honestly ask yourself is, Does Yahweh delight in me?.
