DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR MARCH 14, 2023
But in those days, following that distress,
‘the sun will` be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ Mark 13:24-27
These words from the mouth of our Savior should form the foundation for our desire to live according to the Word of Yahweh each and every day. Yahshua promised that He would return after a time of great darkness and destruction which shall befall on the entire earth. Despite the doom and gloom that is certain to come, we are given hope, hope based on our possible inclusion in those He gathers from the four corners of the earth.
The gathered ones are called the elect. They are chosen. They are selected by Yahshua because of their dedication and faithfulness. They are picked because they voluntarily have followed His example of right living. They are singled out because they hate sin and sinful actions and have taken personal steps to eliminate it from their lives.
A reward awaits those who refuse to give in to the lure of sin. Keep your eyes on the prize. Yahshua is returning to collect His own. You can be a part of this wonderful process if you stay the course.
