DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR AUGUST 18, 2018 SHABBAT SHALOM

8/18/2018 Eph 3:14-19 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of the Messiah, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of Yahweh.

One of the most inspiring and encouraging passages in the Bible are found here in Paul’s words to the Ephesian congregation. He wants for each of us to experience the power and strength that comes from knowing, accepting, and following Yahshua of Nazareth. He loved us and proved His love by shedding His blood and giving His life for us. That unique sacrifice should provide the strength we need to make it through each day. It should give us the ability to overcome all sense of depression and any anxiety we may face. That type of love is rare and yet He showed it to us. Begin your day knowing that you have the strength to manage any problem that you may face today. Remember that even if you can find love in no other place, you have it in Him. And because He loves you, you should show that love to others. The love of Yahshua fills you with the ability to become of the full nature of Yahweh our Father, where all the fruit of the spirit are manifested. Be fruitful today and remember our Savior’s love for you.
