8/21/2018 Rom 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of Elohim lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of the Messiah, he does not belong to the Messiah.
You cannot claim to have Yahweh’s Holy Spirit and live a life totally consumed with physical matters. IF you have the Holy Spirit, your life is one that reflects spirituality. A person with the Holy Spirit displays love, joy and peace. He is patient, kind and good. He is faithful and meek and most of all exercises self-control in all matters. These character traits are not mere concepts those who have the Holy Spirit but are evident for all to see. We must all live in this world with all its trappings. But we do not have to be like the world with its preoccupation in rejecting the sound advice of the Word of Yahweh. Yahweh gave His spirit to empower us to do His will in all matters. Do you use it for this purpose or do you allow yourself to be influenced by those around you—following the crowd in most matters? Be different. Be spiritual. Use the power within to be more and more like the Messiah (spiritual) and less and less like the world (controlled by sinful nature) with each passing day
