I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22
Yahweh always speaks to us in an understandable media. He is using a cloud and morning mist to help us to understand our sins as He sees them. A cloud prevents us from seeing the glory of the sun in the sky and the morning mist (fog?) keeps us from seeing the path that is before us. Our sins cloud our mind from seeing the glory of our Heavenly Father and they prevent us from seeing the path that He has put before us. But notice that the clouds and fog don’t last very long. When we confess our sins, He has promised to cleanse us of our sins (1Jn.1:9). It seems that the plan of redemption was in motion even before our Redeemer Yahshua the Messiah came to this Earth. The word for redeem is Gaal and it means to buy back the next of kin, just like Boaz did to Ruth. Yahweh paid the ultimate price for our redemption, the life of His only Son. Return to Yahweh, confess and repent of your sins and allow Him to make your life worth living.
