DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR NOVEMBER 9, 2019 SHABBAT SHALOM

11/9/2019 Ps 10:1 Why, O Yahweh, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? Life is very difficult, and we are often easily discouraged. We sometimes feel that Yahweh is not there and not listening and not intervening, or at least not as we would like. Those are the times that we must remind ourselves that He is in fact there. He is acting on our behalf. There may be a lesson for us to learn. There may be a price to pay for some sin or sins we have committed. There may be personal growth that we need. But He is always there. He has no reason to hide. He is not afraid of the wicked. He has no fear of consequences. He does have concern for each of us. He wants for each one to come to a knowledge of salvation and earnestly desires for each man, woman and child to receive a place in His kingdom. But each one must do his or her part. You must never lose faith. You must never doubt His existence. You must always seek the way that most pleases Him. Look to Him not only when you are in your deepest, darkest hour. Turn to Him each day and for everything in your life. This will show you that He is not hiding. He is there—always.
