Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker,
to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground.
Does the clay say to the potter,
‘What are you making?’
Does your work say,
‘He has no hands’?
Woe to him who says to his father,
‘What have you begotten?’
or to his mother,
‘What have you brought to birth?’ Is 45:9-10
The focus of man today is on finding new things; new light; new means of worship; new knowledge about the Creator. They do not realize that Yahweh is from everlasting and therefore the way to Him can be found by merely studying His word, which is ancient.
He tells us to remember the old ways. The ways of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The ways of Noah, a perfect, righteous man. The ways of EliYah, man of great faith. The ways of Ruth, a woman who displayed enormous dedication. Look to the ways of the men and women of faith of old. They understood that they could do nothing to deter Yahweh from His plan. They accepted Yahweh’s plan and sought to fit into it. You must do the same.
