DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR APRIL 18, 2020 SHABBAT SHALOM

4/18/2020 Roman 6:12-13 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to Elohim, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. Notice that this scripture says, “let not”. 2 Corinthians 7:1 states that we are to “cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit”. We have a choice to make, either we allow sin to reign in our body, by displaying the works of unrighteousness or we choose to stand against the lusts of the flesh and live a life to Yahweh’s pleasing. We are either obeying the sin to offer ourselves as instruments of unrighteousness unto death, or we are offering our bodies as instruments of righteousness and thereby declaring to this lost world our heavenly Father Yahweh. When we are living a life in harmony with Yahweh’s Torah, we are in essence declaring Yahweh. Choose to live to life and blessings instead of death and the curse.
