Shabbat Shalom
In Elohim, whose word I praise, in Yahweh, whose word I praise – in Elohim I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to you, O Elohim; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before Elohim in the light of life. Ps 56:10-13
David was a man who fully and completely trusted in Yahweh. This is how he was able to be victorious in some many different and difficult situations—his victory over the giant Goliath; his ascension to the throne, even while King Saul was still alive; his constant victories over the Philistines. David understood that as long as he trusted in Yahweh to provide the victory, the victory would follow. He faced many different strenuous and even life-threatening situations. And Yahweh delivered him from them all. In your life, when you feel weak and feeble, when you feel like you are about to fall, remember to maintain your trust in Yahweh. Do not fear but show internal strength and confidence in the one who will fight all of your battles for you. Know that Yahweh is for you and therefore it does not matter who is against you
