DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SEPTEMBER 9, 2018

9/9/2018 Psalm 139:17-18 How precious to me are your thoughts, O Elohim! How vast is the sum of them! Where I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

Do you take the time to truly appreciate and value Yahweh’s thoughts toward you? Yahweh knows you better than you know yourself. He formed you, from your size and shape, to the color of your hair and eyes, to the hairs growing on your knuckles. His role in your existence gives Him a personal, deep interest in your well-being and development. As such, He intervenes and protects you at times when you may not even be aware. As David stated, you cannot even begin to count the number of times He considers you. Each day we must take the time to express our thanks to Yahweh for His thoughts toward us. We must treasure those things that He does for us that we cannot do for ourselves—often because we are not aware of the dangers or need. Yahweh is there for you. Show Him your appreciation through prayer but also by living each day more perfectly than the day before.
