Daily Devotional for September 03, 2021
I delight greatly in Yahweh;
my soul rejoices in my Elohim.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Is 61:10
The future is bright and promising for those who acknowledge Yahweh as our Father and strive to live by His commands. It will be as though they are the main participants in a wedding ceremony. We all know how happy and excited the bride and groom are on that special day. The hopes of a lifetime are realized on that day. Two individuals who sought companionship will be joined together in an everlasting covenant. They will vow to be advocates for each other forevermore.
The difference is that, unlike the marriages of today which are often build on false hopes and dreams, this marriage will indeed be forever. This union is based on the integrity of Almighty Yahweh Himself. From that day forth we will enter into a union that cannot be broken and that will indeed last forever.
Use that hope and promise to drive your commitment to do His will in your life today.
