Daily Devotional for October 06, 2021
Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:19
How much faith do you have? In several other passages, Yahshua tells us that if our faith is even as small as the extremely small mustard seed, we would be able to move mountains—MOVE MOUNTAINS! Faith is a foundational element in our relationship with our Savior and with Yahweh our Father. The leper healed in Luke 17 was thankful for the healing he received and expressed his gratitude to Yahshua personally. However, there were 9 others with him who should have been just as appreciative.
What about you? Do you give thanks to Yahweh for the intercessions He makes for you only 1 out of the 10 times He acts? Are you only able to see His hand only when great feats are performed? What about the times that He has intervened without you asking?
What about the seemingly small, “coincidental” occurrences in your life? These take place from minute to minute. They can be as noticeable as the car that barely misses hitting you because you swerve while looking down to change the radio station in the car; or as small as the last minute question your son asks you in the morning making you two minutes later than normal but which keeps you from being involved in the accident that you just miss on the freeway. Your faith may not be as complete or whole as the leper, but Yahweh still acts on your behalf in situations like these each and every day. Take time to give Him the glory. Build your faith and you will see even the smallest miracles in your life.
