Daily Devotional for November 08, 2022
In the way of righteousness there is life;
along that path is immortality. Proverbs 12:28
Mankind’s fascination with immortality has been made evident by the countless movies and articles relating to topics as the “holy grail” and the “fountain of youth”. We all have a natural instinct to survive, but to achieve immortality is beyond our control. When we have an illness we will spend much money trying to overcome the illness, much like the woman who touched the hem of Yahshua’s garment. It seems that we have been looking in the wrong place for immortality and this verse of scripture holds the key.
It’s always wise to live a healthy life, eating good food, which is sanctified by Yahweh, and to boost our immune system with natural supplements in order to live as long as possible. But to achieve true immortality we must life a righteous life, a life that is in harmony with Yahweh’s Torah.
