Daily Devotional for July 03, 2023
Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Yahshua son of Yehozadak. Tell him this is what Yahweh Almighty says: ‘Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of Yahweh. It is he who will build the temple of Yahweh, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.’ Zechariah 6:11-13
It’s absolutely amazing how the Bible, with all it’s different authors, perfectly harmonizes from one book to another.
What we have here is an account of the name of the Branch. Crowns are put on the head of Yahshua the son of Yehozadak while stating behold the man whose name is The Branch. It can be easily stated that the Branch’s name is Yahshua. The Branch is of course relating to the Messiah as can be seen from Isaiah 11. The name Yahshua actually means the salvation of Yahweh.
Notice that this Branch will build the temple of Yahweh, He will restore Yahweh’s worship, He will rule upon Yahweh’s throne while also being a priest. Yahshua will bear rule of the Earth when He returns and the law will go forth from Jerusalem. We are in training, to rule with Yahshua when He returns.
