He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared Elohim nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’
“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear Elohim or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’ ” Luke 18:2-5
The acronym P.U.S.H. is going around at it stands for Pray Until Something Happens. So many times we pray to Yahweh and when we don’t see instant results we tend to give up. But notice the widow in this parable. She constantly came to the judge to be avenged and eventually she received what she was after. She didn’t receive it because the judge wanted to avenge her but because he got tired of being bothered by her.
We should never give up praying for a certain situation. What if you were to stop praying one day early from receiving your request and you didn’t receive it because you stopped praying?
There are 3 possible answers to prayer that Yahweh is giving. They are “yes”, “no” and “not yet”. Let’s be patient for we will receive an answer.
