Shabbat Shalom
Do not forsake your friend and the friend of your father, and do not go to your brother’s house when disaster strikes you — better a neighbor nearby than a brother far away. Pro 27:10
A friend is someone who you are attached to by affection. It is someone who is a favored companion. What kind of friend are you? Are you there for those close to you only when times are good?
True friends are there for one another especially during difficult times. They never forsake each other and are always available no matter how inconvenient it may be to do so.
We all need friends that we can depend on. We know that Yahshua is a friend to us. He calls us friends in John 15. But we also need close human allies that we can go to during challenging and strenuous situations. In order to find friends, remember that you must first be a friend. Be a friend to someone today.
