Daily Devotional for December 10, 2023

Whoever sacrifices to any Elohim other than Yahweh must be destroyed. Ex 22:20
Sacrifice is an act of worship. Our Creator clearly forbids any sacrifice-worship to any elohim other than to Him. This is exactly what He commands in Ex. 20:4-6. He is the only One deserving of worship and praise. All adoration must be directed to Him. Those who violate this vital command may be committing spiritual suicide.
We all seek to have a fruitful relationship with Yahweh and desire for Him to be pleased with our actions. One of the first steps toward this end is to be faithful to Him just as loving spouses are to one another. Each day take time to perform acts of worship to Yahweh, either through prayer or through some type of individual or family devotion service. He will be pleased by your dedication.
