Daily Devotional for March 31, 2024
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by Elohim.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me. John 6:44-45
We all seek to take the message of salvation to everyone we know, especially those closest to us. But we must accept the fact that only a few will listen and act on what they hear. Only those who hear the message and learn the lessons will heed the call. Yahweh is not rejecting people. People are rejecting Him—not you.
Only those drawn, attracted, pulled toward the message will actually hear. And Yahweh is the One who draws. Everyone is not hungering and thirsting for truth. He knows those who are sincerely seeking Him. Many are looking for something else.
Do not allow the fact that others do not seem to be interested in learning more about your faith to be a reflection on you (unless, of course, you are not living the faith you describe to them). Maintain your zeal for the faith regardless of the reaction of those around you. Share the message of salvation with all who will hear. Yahweh will draw those who are sincere.
