For Yahweh gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Prov 2:6-8
Common sense seems to be absent in the world today. People often look for common sense in all the wrong places. They look at ancient eastern texts. They read modern versions of Hindu or Moslem literature. They comb the pages of modern counselors and advisors while the book of Proverbs is not as revered in the world as these other “wisdom” publications. Yet, wisdom comes from above. It rests in the word of Yahweh and He makes it available to all who desire it.
Read the sacred Scriptures each day. Study His word and look for the guidance only He can provide. Sound wisdom, common sense, understanding, and knowledge comes from Him. If you follow His wisdom, He will preserve your ways.
