Shabbat Shalom
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of Elohim our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit Tit 3:1-5
Nothing we have done, are doing, or shall do entitles us to Yahweh’s favor and blessings. He has lovingly extended His grace to us. This is sufficient reason for us to extend ourselves to all men. We must respect those in positions of authority. We must seek to live at peace with everyone around us always being considerate of our actions and how they may affect others. It does not matter if they believe in Yahweh or not for we were also once without the knowledge of the truth in our lives. We were once enslaved to following our senses to do evil. We thought this to be freedom, but we were wrong. Sin controls and regulates the life of the sinner.
We are now free, released from sin and its control. Only those freed from sin have a hope to be adopted into the Elohim family. Have you been freed or do you continue to slavishly follow the passions of the flesh? Adoption awaits those who use Yahweh’s mercy to lift themselves to a higher level of life.
