Ezekiel 18:20 (ASV)
20 The soul that sins it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Sin is the transgression of the Law according to 1 John 3:4 so if you practice sin you will die but if you keep the commandments you will have eternal life. The major difference is that we have a savior who died for our sins so we can no longer live in them. We must be faithful in not treading His shed blood under our feet by going back to sin and the devil. Show Yahshua you love Him by keeping His commandments.
