Proverbs 1:1-2 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;

It seems that watching the news and hearing the decisions that some of our “elected officials” make, may cause us to say “what are they thinking”. People, when asked, state that common sense has “gone out the window”. The book of Proverbs is called the “wisdom literature”. Written by Solomon they contain useful information to help us become wise, which when applied, will make our life run more smoothly. We have a decision to make, either to be wise or foolish. Paul told Timothy that the sacred writings (the old testament) can make us wise unto salvation. The fool has said in his heart there is no Elohim. He has made the choice to believe that there is no creator, no greater power over his life, no one to turn to in times of need. We on the other hand as Yahweh’s children believe in Him and trust in Him to teach us His wisdom. Yahweh has put before us life and death, the blessing and the curse. Let’s be wise enough to choose life and the blessing in Yahshua’s name.
